The outside is overrated.
I just want to hole up at home for a bit.
Okay, I probably don't need a Cintiq, but tell me if it isn't the coolest thing you've ever seen? It's like a computerised easel - better, because you don't have to start with a blank slate. So brilliant.
I've been checking out graphic tablets -reading reviews and such- I'm leaning towards the Bamboo Fun, price-wise anyway. I can't believe I put off getting a tablet for so long. I've wanted one since Graph Comm '06. Ironically, I'm done with all my design modules. I want one so I can draw something other than straight lines (see Elephant and Castle). The elephant doesn't count. I blacked out a photograph, so the perfect curves aren't me.
Aye.
I'm leaving for Singapore in 6 days. I can't decide whether or not that's a good thing. On one hand, I miss the people dearly and it'd be beyond awesome to see them again. I've been checking out people on facebook and their faces are starting to feel foreign. Seriously, if I ran into them in the supermarket, I'll probably do a "do I know you?". Crazy, because I call some of them my best friends. On the other hand, I'm not looking forward to the clutter that is my life as I've left it. If anything, my head's a lot clearer down here. What can I say? I'm torn.
So much love, I can't contain it. So much love, I have to give it away.
Want some?
Aptly captioned the happiest song on earth. As cheesy as it sounds, I'm feelin' groovy.
Spent the day cooking and drawing in equal proportions. I'll consider the holiday well-spent if that's all I do for the next three months.
Today's menu includes chocolate mochi, banocolate strudels, castles and maps. Yes, I know it seems a little frivolous (the castle part) for a twenty-year-old, but I have a vision in my head and I'm running with it. I haven't exactly worked out the details, but it should be awesome. Watch this space.
But I don't wanna! *wails*
Normally, I wouldn't mind, but International Relations is something else.
Scream, shout, throw a hissy fit or whatever. It's happening. Get over it.
Worst part? The waiting.
Dallas Clayton's a genius. Read his book.
I'd do screen caps, but I'm too aware of copyright issues and whatnot. It only takes five minutes to read and trust me, you won't regret it.
Belting out Maroon 5's She will be loved on a quiet Thursday afternoon.
I'm not sure what I'm getting at, but I'm going no where with revision.
Twitter is suddenly a good idea.
